Vero Sales Manager (Aftermarket Products)

Job Responsibilities: 

We are currently seeking an Aftermarket Sales Manager who is responsible for selling Vero aftermarket products and services to existing and new/prospective dealers throughout the assigned area. The principal responsibilities will be as follows:   

 

  • Identify prospects and bring to contract new aftermarket dealership and credit union clients within the entire business unit region; including prospect reporting and assisting Business Unit staff to ensure potential opportunities are maximized, handling all contracts and documentation to ensure they are executed and submitted properly. As directed by the Regional Director, identifies and solicits sales agents to increase sales of products.
  • Handle all aspects of the implementation/training and follow-up process for dealerships that have been contracted. This includes all communication with Vero administrative staff to ensure all forms and documents are supplied to the dealership at implementation and on an ongoing basis. Ensure proper billing is executed. Manage all internal and external Vero product communications regarding product sales, service and production.
  • Responsible for ongoing product training and coordination of activities related to Vero products for all Business Unit staff. Responsible for ongoing training of dealerships and credit unions which have implemented Vero products. Represents CUDC at dealer and industry conferences as well as other events to build client relationships.
Requirements: 

At a minimum, each candidate should possess the following skills, experience and background.

 

  • BA/BS degree or commensurate experience.
  • Seven years experience in the indirect automotive and aftermarket industry, preferably in a sales capacity.
  • Extensive knowledge of the dealership marketplace, dealership operations, regulatory compliance, finance and service department products is required.
  • Proven track record of sales and referral success in an aftermarket and B2V environment.
  • Must be able to work independently with a high level of initiative.
  • Excellent oral, written and presentation skills.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office programs to include Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Must have a valid driver’s license and ability to travel extensively.
  • F&I selling and F&I training (including knowledge of menus, service contracts and pay plan consultation).
  • Demonstrated ability to create custom product and sales aids.
